SUMMER WRITING CHALLENGE

Enter our Summer Writing Challenge for the chance to be one of two writers picked by us to read their work out on a special episode of the show, including a spotlight post on our Instagram account.

Challenge: write a story of Summer Folklore which explores some aspect of British folklore or folk culture. It could be anything from properly terrifying Children of the Corn folk horror or something much more magical and whimsical.

Rules: entry is free. Stories are to be no more than 2500 words (we’re giving you a bigger word count than we usually get). British folkore theme (the stranger the better).

Deadline: Tuesday 30th June

Format: Word document 12 pt type/ Times New Roman/ double space (all the usual formatting jazz so out eyes don’t go funny).
